Let’s make your home your temple
Calanthia is on a mission to restore New York City by livening up our living spaces with houseplants and fresh flowers. Research suggests we spend about 85% of our life indoors. When we bring nature into our lives we feel less stressed and our mood & senses are boosted. Humans have been bringing the outdoors in for over 2,000 years - starting with ancient Roman, Greek, Chinese, Egyptian, & Sumerian civilizations bringing potted plants in containers and vessels into their homes.

Meet Jenna.
Jenna is a Minnesota native living in NYC. She spent most of her childhood in northern Minnesota at her family’s lake home: foraging for berries, fishing off the end of the dock, catching frogs, collecting flowers and leaves. It was only natural that she recreate this in her own home.
She believes everyone’s home can be a space that is calm, grounding, and alive.
Meet Jenna’s house plants.
While the bunch here only represents a fraction of her collection, more can be found in every direction you look in Jenna’s apartment. In fact, it’s hard to tell where the outside stops and the inside begins. But don’t worry, this is just the way she likes it.
